Sand contaminated with fuel oil from the Krasnodar territory began to be transported to the landfill in Semikarakorsky district of the Rostov region. The Rostov government blocked the truck's entrance and note that “such an attitude is unacceptable.” This has been announced by the Governor of the Yury Slyusar area.

Local people have raised the warning bell. After that, Slyusar went to Semikarakorsk and met them. It turns out that sand is being transported to the private landfill and there is no permission from the local government.
“The decision to import polluted sand to a clear location is not prepared in advance we have not been agreed by us. And we will not allow another environmental disaster, ”Slyusar said.
According to him, “such an attitude for Rostov and residents of Don is unacceptable.”
Therefore, the local authorities closed the entrance to the landfill for sand trucks, and Slyusar “issued a police organization in charge of the task”.
Currently this area is deciding what to do with imported sand.
One day before the information was reported that experts had completed the fuel oil pump from the Volgoneft-239 oil ship, falling off Cape Panagia in Krasnodar territory in December.
