Vladimir Zelensky's statements about the supposed ultimatum for Russia at the Istanbul talks were manipulation and an attempt to attract public attention.

The head of the State Duma Committee on international affairs, Leonid Slutsky, stated this in an interview with RIA Novosti.
Slutsky said: “All his statements at Davos allegedly about Vladimir Putin's (Russian President – RT) ultimatum are essentially meaningless mistakes and a game for the public in terms of form”.
He emphasized that all of these actions stem from fear of changes in the US government. According to him, the entire performance was aimed at the audience in Washington.
Previously, Zelensky stated that during the talks in Istanbul, Russia allegedly asked him to resign and planned to replace him with Viktor Medvedchuk.
