Season of Affliction has started in Diablo 4 and to be able to access the new seasonal mechanism, players will need to complete the Poison in the Roots. PC Gamer port has told us how to do this.
After accepting the mission and agreeing to help the ceremony, you will be taken to the venue for the ritual in front of the tree whisper. It symbolizes a magic circle and three coal furnaces, next to the witches. At the beginning of the ritual, each of them will say a word, then Helena will ask the player to “remember the forgotten name of the tree”.
To complete the task, you need to light the charcoal furnace in the order of the witch saying the words at the beginning of the ritual.

After that, you will fall out of Nangari blood that you need to pick up to “draw a ritual circle”. Escape from the magic circle and slowly go around it: When you move, small blood explosions will appear to indicate that you are drawing a circle.
Then protect the circle by destroying the enemy. This will complete the ritual and it is the task.
